Yesterday (Saturday) went to E. Greynolds Park. Brought tennis balls from across the street and threw them into dog park. As I turned to go this cute little white scruffy thing came running over to me and yelped. I went to pet her through the fence, and she was ecstatic, like...thank you, thank you, thank you. It was cool. Spent late afternoon at the pier. Met Sir John, the fisherman. "My mother used to tell me even a fool can teach you something." Watched birds with the Pentax. Chilled. Nice.

Rough night. Disturbed sleep, acorn-size bladder, and Arthur. The tripple whammy. Had TCM's Memorial Day marathon on all night. Saw The Best Years of Our Lives, but missed the ending. One of Billy Wilder's that I hadn't seen.

• 

Today got up very late. TCM marathon still on, so I watched a bit of Dirty Dozen. Cleaned kitchen. Began Astology card.

 

Returned rental car to Thrifty. When I came home the Muses were here to play. The result is the good man QC.  Quite spent after so rested for a WHILE. 

 

Insomnia last night. body exhausted...mind locked in awake modderaring to go. Went the E Greynold's pier for early morning nature time. 7:30-10-ish. Peaceful, beautiful, nice breeze, early morning fisherpeoples, heat and humidity deluxe.

Went to Consumer's (maybe the best place in Miami to get fresh meat & fish) on 180 st and nw 27th ave. Upcoming menus will include fresh shrimp, stewed oxtail, turkey legs, and lamb chops. Sweet!

Will continue interviews next Tuesday at NM Rehab. Told April the 1st day's footage looked great. all usable.

• 

Did a comprehensive sweep of Walmart (Hell) early afternoon. Stuck very close to the list and still ended up filling a cart and spending over $200. Damn! When did a cart of general household products cost 2 days pay? Got a cool new motorized toothbrush as per dentist's orders. He also told me to stop brushing my gums (which I was always thought was a good thing) and just polish the pearls with a spinning brush.

Yesterday's filming went well. I shot 11 minutes of heartfelt testimonials to Miss Paige's spirituality, work ethic and friendship. She is truly the spiritual leader of that place and will be sorely missed. Every co-worker either spoke with an ear-to-ear grin or wet eyes as they paid their tributes. Powerful. And I felt cleansed by the free expression of God, prayer and being "blessed." I could feel their faith and felt right at home.

Thank you God...for faith, teaching, all my teachers and students, and the evolution of awareness and communication. Oh, and Buttonwood Camp.

Went to the dentist today for the first time in many moons. There was good news (fixable pearls) and bad news (muy mucho money-o).

 

 

 

 

Terrible interrupted sleep last night. Feel like a zombie, but gotta get ready to go and begin interviews at NM Rehab. A lady is retiring after 40 years and I offered to conduct and edit interviews, then make a DVD for her to keep. All gratis, but it's better than sitting around home feeling useless. I hope I'm up to it.

Shortly after waking up, and in the middle of my morning constitutional, I felt drops of water on my head, looked up, and yup, another water leak from the apartment above. Two weeks ago water rained down the walls of my room and messed up books, clothes, etc...  This time it seems contained to the bathroom.

Talking/Collaborating/Playing more with MHL. Better than ever.

Spent sunset at E. Greynolds Park pier. Listened to am radio, jotted in journal, and tossed tennis balls. Let me 'splain... I bike by the tennis courts, west of Biscayne, pick up stray balls and take them to the dog park directly across the Boulevard. Then I throw the balls into the doggie play area. Yay! I'm contemplating working up to making a friend who will let me play with his/her pooch.

ABC run. Gave message and magnets to Ellis (and Richard, aptly named).
